Tina stage show to recreate her story at King's Hall

Tina Live – The Tina Turner Stage Show & Story comes to the King’s Hall Ilkley on Friday 31st March recreating her story in sound and vision.

Starring Julie Nevada as Tina with her amazing band and dancers, this fully live energetic stage show charts the life and career of one of the world’s most iconic performers - Tina Turner, The Queen Of Rock and features full back screen projection, charting the hits and career of TINA TURNER from the early days onwards.

Full of hits including Private Dancer, Nutbush City Limits, Proud Mary, River Deep Mountain High and Let’s Stay Together to name but a few, this show is the ultimate night out and not to be missed. Powerful vocals, live band, backing singers and fabulous professional dancers with electrifying dance routines makes TINA LIVE ‘Simply the Best’ night out of the year!

Tina Turner was born Anna Mae Bullock on 26 November 1939 in Nutbush, Tennessee. She obtained Swiss citizenship in 2013 and currently lives in Küsnacht, Switzerland. She shot to fame in the mid-1950s singing with Ike Turner's Kings of Rhythm, originally under the name "Little Ann." She became Tina Turner in 1960 and began the Ike & Tina Turner Revue with hits such as "River Deep – Mountain High", "Proud Mary" and "Nutbush City Limits", selling-out tickets to shows in stadiums and arenas across the world. She has since spoken openly about being a victim of domestic abuse and split from Ike in 1976.
