Police say three men have been arrested following an assault at the Black Horse pub on Skipton High Street at the weekend.
It happened at around 11.25pm on Saturday (22nd October).
Officers say the victim - a 41-year-old man from Lancashire - is in a critical condition in hospital as a result of the assault.
Two men from Skipton, aged 33 aged 36, and one man aged 38 from Bingley, have been released on conditional bail pending further enquiries.
Police have thanked those members of the public who have come forward with information.
