This year’s committee for the Ilkley Business Awards have announced outline plans for the next event which will take place on 18th March 2022.
New committee member, David Waterhouse from Ilkley based voice-over business Whitetop Productions commented “They say ‘what a difference a day makes’….well with Covid it’s not been a day, nor even a week, or months – but WE ARE BACK.
We are so excited to be launching the Ilkley Business Awards 2022, the awards that mean so much to businesses, large and small, new and established, in LS29. It truly is ‘The Time to Shine in LS29!”
The Awards, which have been running since 2016 and last took place a short time before the first Covid lockdown, have some new categories to enter. Kelly Edmundson, committee member and solicitor with LCF Law in Ilkley told us “We are well underway with the planning of the 2022 Awards. We have some exciting new categories and we have refined some of our existing categories. We are also making some exciting changes to how you can enter – more details will be provided at the launch event.”
Anyone in business in the LS29 postcode area is eligible to enter and is invited to the official launch night on Wednesday 13th October at The Craiglands Hotel. More details about the ‘re-vamped’ awards will be revealed on the night and entries will open immediately afterwards. At this time the committee are promoting sponsorship opportunities and are keen to speak to any business, or business leader who would like to make a difference.

Sponsorship costs remain at £450 which includes 2 free tickets and a wide range of marketing activities. In addition to category sponsorship, businesses can choose Event sponsorship to cover other elements of the night such as the reception drinks.
