St George's Day celebration planned by Keighley Town Council

Keighley Town Council is putting on a day of events for local families on Sunday 23rd April to mark St George's Day.

The event will run from 11am – 4pm at the Airedale Shopping Centre.

Organisers say there will  be free activities and fun for all the family including face painting, balloon modelling, a Punch and Judy Show, arts and crafts and stilt walkers.

A colouring competition has also been launched that children can take part in and have a chance to win a gift card from The Works.

To enter, tap here to download the colouring competition shield - once printed and coloured you then need to drop it off at the Civic Centre, North Street by 5pm Friday 22 April. The competition will be judged by the Keighley Town Mayor.

Town Mayor, Cllr Luke Maunsell said, “I’m delighted that this event is once again being held. I hope that people will turn out in large numbers and enjoy the festivities, especially considering the upcoming coronation, which hopefully, will make the day all the more special.”

Further activities are available to download on the Keighley Town Council website.
