Skipton-based environmental consultancy Beyondly has covered the running costs of Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice for 24 hours after making a donation of £13,000.
The company - formerly known as Comply Direct - effectively paid for the Oxenhope hospice's expert and compassionate palliative care for the whole day on Tuesday 25th April.
Over the last year, the hospice has provided care to hundreds of people across Wharfedale, Airedale, Craven and parts of Bradford living with a life-limiting condition, as well as supporting many more of their friends and families.

The company commits to making available 5% of its net profit in each financial year. As part of this, we are thrilled to help a charity so close to our hearts at Beyondly, to fund all aspects needed for one day of care at Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice.

Sarah Bottomley, Service Director at Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice, said: “Our dedicated healthcare teams provide specialist palliative care for people living with a life-limiting condition both at the hospice and in their own homes. However, we couldn’t help all the people that need us without the support of businesses and individuals in our local community generously donating and fundraising for us.
“Currently the government only provide one-third of the funding that hospices like ours need and Sue Ryder, like the rest of the sector, must rely on fundraising activities and voluntary donations, which is why the incredibly kind gift from Beyondly means so very much to us. Thank you.”
