Recruitment drive for council's adult social care team

Bradford Council's adult social care department has announced a major recruitment drive to fill a variety of roles to make a difference to the community.

The authority says it's looking for caring, professional, positive people to join a dynamic workforce including professionally qualified, managerial and front-line care roles.

It's launched a website with videos showing the variety of roles on offer and showcasing some of the staff already working on the team across the district, which includes Keighley and Ilkley.

Cllr Sarah Ferriby, Executive Member for Healthy People and Places, said: “We want to reach out to people who want to make a difference. I expect we have all at some point in our lives looked after and cared for someone we love, and having that care and support will have made a huge difference. We are encouraging people to come forward, get in touch and to make a difference to someone’s life.”

Adult Social Care is a growing sector which offers various roles and a long-term career with the opportunity of professional progression, training and the chance to learn new transferable skills.
