Police appeal after man attacked by four youths in Skipton

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a robbery in Skipton last month.

Officers say it happened on Carleton Road at 12.15am on Monday 27th June 2022 and involved a man being attacked by a group of four teenagers.

The group stole his mobile phone, house keys and an amount of money - and the victim suffered injuries to his face and nose. 

The four youths are believed to be in their mid-teens and were wearing dark clothing, riding bicycles. 

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

"In particular, we are appealing for information about any witnesses to this assault. A vehicle drove past which the victim believes disturbed his attackers so if you were that driver, please get in touch to assist the investigation."
