Pedestrian dies after collision with van in Keighley

A 51 year old man died at the scene after a collision involving a pedestrian and a van in Keighley.

It happened shortly after 12noon on Monday (13th March). Officers were called to Marley Street, off South Street, to a report of a serious collision between a man and a Mercedes Sprinter van.

Police say it is understood that the van had rolled backwards and collided with the pedestrian, who was treated by paramedics but died at the scene.

Officers are now appealing for witnesses, or anyone with relevant CCTV or dashcam footage.
