MP invites nominations to win his Small Business Awards

Keighley and Ilkley MP Robbie Moore is encouraging local people to nominate and vote for their favourite small business in the constituency area.

Mr Moore says he is bringing his Small Business Awards back after a successful competition last year. Nominations and voting is taking place via his website.

The competition will award four small businesses the accolade of Best Small Business for the areas of Keighley, Ilkley, the Worth Valley and Craven, before an overall winner is also announced.

Mr Moore says he hopes the competition will help to promote and celebrate small businesses operating across the area ahead of Small Business Saturday next month and in the run up to the Christmas period.

To nominate, you can visit robbiemooore.org.uk/nominate and follow the instructions. The deadline for nominations is 9th December.

Robbie Moore MP said: "With Christmas approaching, it is really important for us to promote and celebrate our brilliant small businesses and to encourage people to shop, eat, drink, relax and do business locally.

"Without doubt, small independent businesses are the backbone of our local economy and we need to support them as much as we can.

"If residents would like to take part and nominate their favourite small business, they can nominate online at robbiemoore.org.uk/nominate up until the deadline of 9 December.

"It would be a real privilege if small businesses across our area were able to take part in this competition, and I wish everyone Good Luck!"
