MP grilled by kids at Keighley primary school

Keighley and Ilkley MP Robbie Moore was questioned by a class of 8 and 9 year olds as part of a recent visit to St Anne's Catholic Primary School in Keighley.

The MP spoke about his role as an MP and his priorities for the area - including rebuilding Airedale Hospital and protecting the green space on North Street just a few hundred metres from the school.

The children also quizzed Mr Moore on a range of topics - including whether he had met King Charles III.

Commenting on his visit, Robbie Moore MP said: "It was a privilege to visit St Anne's Catholic Primary School and spend time with the students to talk about my role as Keighley’s Member of Parliament.

"Their questions were thought-provoking, and it was fantastic to see such enthusiasm about our town from our young people.

"St Anne’s Catholic Primary has a brilliant teaching team with a lovely learning environment. It was a real privilege to visit, engage and talk to our next generation about what matters to them.

"Engaging with our young people is truly one of the best parts of the job."
