Local rail users invited to AGM for Airedale line groups

The Annual General Meetings for both the Aire Valley Rail Users Group and Friends of the Airedale Line are taking place next weekend.

This year's meetings take place on Saturday 29th April at 1pm at the Methodist Church in Saltaire, just a short walk from Saltaire railway station.

As well as reports from each organisation and election of committee officers and members there will be a talk by the Stakeholder Manager at Northern, Darren Allsopp, who will update attendees on developments at the rail operator.

A spokesperson for the groups said: "We hope you will be able to join us, and we would very much like to hear your comments on local rail services."

The Aire Valley Rail Users Group is a voluntary organisation. It campaigns for improvements in rail services between Leeds, Bradford, Shipley, Bingley, Keighley, Skipton, and Gargrave.
