Local artist’s exhibition extended to September

An exhibition at Keighley's Cliffe Castle of work by local artist Mike Moor has been extended until the end of September.

The exhibition of work, on the first floor balcony of Cliffe Castle, by the print maker and painter, inspired by two years of studying and creating works based on Cliffe Castle’s collections, will be on display until 26 January. New pieces, created by Mike over the last 12 months have also been added to the exhibition.

The work is a collection of drawings and etchings of the museum’s exhibits, which are transformed by Mike’s subconscious and personal narratives.

Cllr Sarah Ferriby, Portfolio Holder for Healthy People and Places, said: “This is a great opportunity to see an interesting collection of work by a local artist. Extending the exhibition gives more people the chance to see the work.”

Visitors to the Bradford Council-run museum do not need to book ahead, but will need to wear a face covering. They will also be required to provide information for Track and Trace and follow one-way systems in place.
