Hit and run crash between Keighley and Harden leaves cyclist with serious injuries

Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious collision on Keighley Road between Keighley and Harden which left a cyclist with life-threatening injuries.

It happened just north of Harden village at 9.25am on Sunday morning (11th June) and involved a pedal cycle and a Suzuki Baleno car.

The car was travelling towards St Ives when it collided with one of two cyclists who were travelling in the same direction. The Suzuki then carried on without stopping at the scene of the collision.

The cyclist, a man in his 50s, was taken to hospital with serious head injuries, a broken pelvis and internal bleeding.

Police are looking to speak with anyone who witnessed the collision or was in the area at the time - or anyone who may have dashcam footage of the vehicle.
