Fun Day raises over £600 for Airedale Hospital Neonatal Unit

L-R: Jodie Hearnshaw, Jessica Dinsdale, Jessica’s baby

Jessica Dinsdale, from Keighley, recently raised £646 for Airedale Hospital and Community Charity by organising a fun day.

Jessica wanted to support Airedale Hospital’s neonatal unit where her baby, Marla, was looked after for several weeks when she was born prematurely in January 2022.

Jessica organised a fun day, which took place at Keighley Rugby Club in June, and was to raise funds for the three neonatal units (at Airedale, Bradford and Calderdale hospitals) that cared for her baby.

Jessica said: “I’d like to say a big thank you to Oxford Tyres, who provided a magician for the day, Transdev Keighley Bus Company for providing a face painter and inflatable slide, and David Brunskill for providing a bouncy castle, as well as all of the local businesses that provided prizes for our raffle.

“Without all of these businesses and the amazing generosity from them, the event would not have come together as well as it did.”
