Police in Keighley say they have made an arrest and recovered what are thought to be Class A drugs along with a significant quantity of cash during a search of the suspect.
The arrest was made overnight from Monday into Tuesday this week in the Keighley East area as part of West Yorkshire Police's ongoing work to tackle the supply of drugs locally.
Officers on proactive patrols observed an ongoing drugs deal. Those involved attempted to make off, but one of the males was detained and searched under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
As a result of the search a large quantity of suspected class A drugs was recovered and a significant quantity of cash was also found during the search and recovered.
Officers say the suspect was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug and was held in custody while enquiries continue.
