Keighley Leisure Centre and Ilkley Pool are among the venues where Bradford district residents can get fit and active with a monthly or annual ClubActive membership.
Bradford Council is promoting a 'New, Year, New You ClubActive' offer, which gives residents access to the district's six swimming pools, seven gyms, three saunas and over a hundred weekly fitness classes for £27.50 per month.
The council highlights that you only need to go swimming once and to the gym twice per week to make a monthly saving of £50 compared to pay-as-you-go.
The new campaign gives people the opportunity to attend fitness classes, go swimming and use the gym for £27.50 per month with no contract - or an annual payment of £275 which is a saving of £55, the equivalent of getting two months free.
Membership allows access to all the facilities including Sedbergh Leisure Centre, The Leisure Centre Keighley, Thornton Recreation Centre, Eccleshill Pool and Gym, Shipley Pool and Gym, Ilkley Pool, Bowling Pool and Gym and Manningham Sports Centre.
Anyone taking out membership will get a full induction showing how to use the equipment properly and get the most out of your workout.
Councillor Sarah Ferriby, Bradford Council's Executive Member for Healthy People and Places, said: “We all over indulge over the Christmas and New Year period and this can make us feel really sluggish. We hope that this campaign will give residents the incentive to get active, stick to their resolutions and have a healthier and happier New Year.
“There is a whole range of programmes and sessions available at our gyms and pools, so we are sure that everyone will be able to find an activity that fits in with their lifestyle and that they will enjoy. It is also a great opportunity to have access to different facilities across the district."
