Changes to Bradford bus services from Keighley

Keighley bus services to and from Bradford are changing from this weekend, with different bus stops being used for the 67 and 662 in the city centre.

The changes are part of Bradford’s City Centre transformation works which mean bus services will no longer travel directly through the heart of the city centre from Sunday 14th April 2024.

A new permanent public transport loop will run around the perimeter of the city centre avoiding previous delay hotspots, which transport authority WY Metro says it hopes will "help bus services to run more reliably across the whole district, making the bus a more convenient way to get about. "

A spokesperson added: "We are advising customers to check before they travel to see if their services and stops are impacted and allow extra time for journeys."

The Shuttle 662 service which goes from Keighley to Bradford via Stockbridge, Riddlesden, Crossflatts, Bingley and Shipley will now have its final destination in the city centre at Bridge Street (stop B1) opposite the Interchange after going via Cheapside. This is instead of the current route via Market Street and Sunbridge Road.

The 67 which goes from Keighley to Bradford via Ingrow, Cross Roads, Cullingworth, Denholme and Thornton will now drop off and depart from Nelson Street (stop N2) at Jacob's Well - instead of using its current city centre bus stop on Sunbridge Road.
