Appeal following Sutton-in-Craven burglary and attempted car theft

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a burglary in Sutton-in-Craven earlier this month.

It happened between 1.30am and 2.10am on Monday 3rd April 2023 on Lumb Croft in the village.

North Yorkshire Police say the suspects entered a property, took keys to a car and then attempted to enter the car before running away from the area.

The suspects are described as three young men.

Police are now requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident. In particular officers are appealing for CCTV and doorbell camera footage that may show suspects in the area.
