Abseil the Cow and Calf for Parkinson’s

Take on the challenge and descend 70ft down the iconic Cow and Calf rocks on Ilkley Moor to help transform the lives of people with Parkinson's.

The abseil will take place on Saturday 16 July with 30 places currently available.

Jacquie McGuire from Parkinson’s said: “If you think this is the challenge for you, we’d love to hear from you. Why not get a team together and make it a great day out for you and your friends or work colleagues?”

People can abseil anytime between 9.30am and 3.30pm, the minimum age to sign up is 7 and there is no upper age! Registration for the event is £49 and you are asked to raise a minimum sponsorship of £100.

“We’ll send you everything you need for your fundraising” Jacquie added, “including a fundraising pack and a Parkinson's UK branded t-shirt to wear on the day. We will be there to cheer you on as you abseil, why not bring family and friends along and add to the excitement.

“Everything you raise from the event will help fund our research into a cure and better treatments for everyone affected by Parkinson’s”
