Take part in Bradford Council’s live COVID-19 Q&A

Ilkley and Keighley residents will once again get the chance to put questions key decision makers and health experts about the COVID-19 response and on the roadmap out of restrictions.

Bradford Council will host a Facebook Live Q&A session on Friday 5 March from 2-3pm.

The Leader of Bradford Council, Cllr Susan Hinchcliffe, Director of Public Health for Bradford District, Sarah Muckle, will be joined by Marium Haque, Deputy Director for Education & Learning at Bradford Council, Professor Dinesh Saralaya a Consultant Respiratory Physician at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (BTHFT), and Toni Williams, a health consultant from Public Health England to share their knowledge and insight.

In this session the panel will take questions on a range of COVID-19 issues including vaccinations, advice for parents about the return of schools and the wider COVID roadmap out of lockdown.

Leader of Bradford Council, Cllr Susan Hinchcliffe, said: “After last week’s announcement by government we know that our residents will have many questions about the process and journey out of tighter restrictions as we move cautiously towards the end of lockdown over the coming months.

“We hope to be able to provide residents with some answers to these questions, as well as other important topics such as the on-going vaccination roll out as well as questions from parents on their children returning to schools.

“We’re delighted to once again welcome Professor Saralaya and Toni Williams along to the panel for this session. Our Deputy Director for Education and Learning, Marium Haque will also be joining us to share her insight on the return of schools.”
