As lockdown ends and Skipton moves into Tier 2 covid restrictions the full market will resume.
Over the past month only limited food stalls have been trading on market days, the Skipton Market Facebook page confirmed the reopening news and posted the array of goods that should be available again from Wednesday:
"Together with our government recognized essential goods traders, we should be welcoming back traders selling:- gents and ladies clothing and fashions, hats, gloves, scarves, socks, underwear, footwear, bedding, cushions, gold and silver jewellery, cleaning products, cd's, dvd's, celebrity pictures, music memorabelia, plant pots, coats and outerwear, handbags and purses, hot takeaway foods, wall signs, face coverings, calendars,fridge magnets and pictures of local scenes, Christmas crafts, canvas pictures downloaded from photographs, ladies nightwear, traditional children's wooden toys, hand made jewellery, watches and watch batteries"
Skipton Market will be open Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 2nd December with a road closure on the High Street to allow for social distancing between the hours of 10am and 4pm.
