Skipton Castle reopens after lockdown

Skipton Castle is reopening today for the first time this season, following the Coronavirus lockdown.

The visitor attraction will be open 3 days a week initially - Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays - as part of a phased return to normal.

In a statement, Skipton Castle said: “We are delighted to be welcoming you back! Your safety is our priority.  Please book online and in advance for a guaranteed time slot. This also helps manage numbers, limit queuing and reduce contact for a more enjoyable and relaxed experience.”

Skipton Castle has received the new Visit Britain Kitemark “Good to Go” in recognition of its work to make Skipton Castle as safe as it can for all our visitors and staff.

Friends of Skitpon Castle can get their annual membership extended by 4 months to cover the closed period by calling 01756 792442
