Police appeal after Skipton town centre assault

North Yorkshire Police are investigating an attack in Skipton which left someone in hospital with serious facial injuries over the weekend.

Officers say it happened near to Devonshire Place, off Keighley Road in the town centre, at around 1am on Saturday (17th March)

The victim was approached by a group of men, and was punched in the face which caused serious injuries. The victim went to hospital for medical attention.

One of the suspects is described as being a white man, aged between 30 and 35 years old, about 6ft tall, well built, short dark hair in a buzz cut, he was wearing a rugby club polo t-shirt and dark trousers.
