It's also looking for a someone to chair the board as it embarks on an exciting phase of its development.

The Charitable Incorporated Organisation is about to enter an exciting but demanding new stage in its evolution as one of the major visual arts and place-making ventures locally and in the wider Bradford district and region.

“We are collaborating with long-established charity East Street Arts to buy, refurbish and equip a creative hub in Keighley town centre with a view to have it up and running by 2025. Keighley Creative has also just been named as one of the hub partners for Kala Sangam's successful Cultural Development Fund project, set to launch in 2024.

“We are also a key partner in the planning and delivery of Bradford City of Culture 2025.”

The charity is holding two informal sessions for those interested in applying. The first is on Thursday 6th July from 5.30-7.30pm and the second will be on Saturday 8th July, from 10.30-11.30am. Both are at the charity’s base in the former Argos building on Cooke Lane, next to the Airedale Shopping Centre.

Keighley Creative is particularly looking for people with experience in the arts and community sector; leadership and project management; strategic health and wellbeing experience; education experience gained in a senior role in a school or college; direct knowledge of measuring the impact of arts projects; buildings and facilities management; business management; charitable grant and income generation-based fund raising; marketing and public relations; festivals and events management.

Applicants are asked to provide a CV with a supporting statement detailing why they are applying, and the skills and experience they will bring to the role. More information on the trustees’ roles and how to apply is on the Keighley Creative website at keighleycreative.org/were-on-the-look-out-for-new-trustees/

The deadline for applications is Midnight on 23rd July and post-application follow-up sessions will be held on 29th July.
