The Secretary of State for International Trade, Liz Truss, has visited Keighley today to see the work of local company Marrose Abrasives.
She was accompanied on the trip by the Keighley & Ilkley MP Robbie Moore and found out about the export business of the firm, which makes elastic abrasives at its site on Becks Road in the town.
Mr Moore said: "We have a huge number of brilliant manufacturing, engineering and tech related businesses right across the constituency and I am determined to ensure all have the very best opportunities made available to them. I want ensure new markets are opened up and existing markets can be expanded across the globe so that our businesses right here in the constituency can increase their exporting potential. It was great to discuss these opportunities for Keighley with our International Trade Secretary Liz Truss MP."
