The Ilkley BID Board of Directors welcomes Geraldine Thompson as the BID Manager, who takes over the role from Felicity Gains.
Stuart Hyde QPM, has stepped down from the position of the Chair of Ilkley BID, passing the mantle to Lee Teal. Stuart remains on the BID Board to support the Chair and BID Manager in their new roles.
The board wishes Felicity all the very best as she moves to pastures new, her time with us has been short and sweet; bringing Ilkley Spotlights to showcase the businesses, launching the Discover Ilkley website and filming the first of six commercial videos with Local TV – Leeds.
Geraldine told Rombalds Radio: “I am very excited to return to work in Ilkley, this is the time for businesses to shine and be proud of their durability. It will be my pleasure to work in partnership with the businesses and the community to deliver a brighter future for Ilkley.”
Lee said: “Geraldine has extensive experience with business improvement district management, bringing innovation, passion, confidence and hardworking ethics to the table, we look forward to working with her to help Ilkley to flourish.”
