Gateways Festival partners with Skipton charity SELFA

The Great Yorkshire Dales Proms and Gateways Festival have announced they are "as proud as punch" to promote their charity partnership for this year’s events at Aireville Park, Skipton.

In conjunction with being a local family friendly three day festival, Gateways has linked up with SELFA to highlight that it has the spirit of the local community at the heart of everything it does.

Set up in 2007, SELFA (Skipton Extended Learning for All), is a charity that has gone from strength to strength and now supports over 400 children and families.

SELFA has a very clear vision - to build a community where all children and young people are celebrated and know they belong. The charity supports children and their families experiencing vulnerabilities to build resilience, thrive and achieve.

The team from SELFA will be at Aireville Park in July helping with car parking - with all proceeds from car parking bookings being donated directly to the charity.

A Gateways Festival spokesperson said: "We hope that anyone attending, alongside the ongoing support from the festival, will continue to come together to get behind such a wonderful local charity."

Tickets for the Great Yorkshire Dales Proms and Gatways Festival - taking place on 22nd to 24th July - are on sale now at gatewaysfestival.co.uk
