Dragon's Den Keighley reported to be in liquidation

As soft play centres across England prepare to open their doors again after several months closed, it seems Keighley's Dragons Den won't be reopening.

A report in the Keighley News this week says operator Dragons Leisure Limited was voluntarily wound up on 6th August, with the official record stating that the company could 'not continue its business due to current or impending liabilities'.

Companies House records show that two of the firm's four directors, Andrew Smallwood and Robert Smallwood, were removed from their positions on 3rd April.

The facility's website at dragonsleisure.com has also been taken down.

Dragon's Den has been a popular soft play centre on Dalton Lane for the last decade, hosting children's birthday parties and playdates on its indoor soft play, slides and dodgem rides.

Last night the government announced that soft play centres along with bowling alleys, casinos and a number of other types of venue would be allowed to reopen from Saturday 15th August. However, with local restrictions still in place across the Bradford district it's unlikely local establishments will be able to take advantage of the national change - unless those restrictions are eased.
