DalesBus services return to pre-Covid normality

Bus routes linking Skipton with Grassington, Ilkley and East Lancashire are increasing the number of services as public transport returns to normal.

From this Sunday (30th August), the DalesBus 72 between Skipton and Grassington will resume operations 7 days a week, with buses running mainly hourly throughout the day.

On the Pendle Wizz service between Skipton, Barnoldswick, Colne and Burnley, the Sunday service will be increased to run hourly throughout the day, and some additional journeys will be introduced in the early morning and early evening on other days too.  The last buses from Skipton will leave at 8pm on Monday to Friday and 7.40pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

There will also be some minor changes to Dalesway bus 66 between Skipton and Keighley, with buses already running half-hourly throughout the day on Monday to Saturday, and hourly in the evenings and on Sundays.

On Bank Holiday Monday 31st August, a Sunday timetable will operate on all local bus routes. This includes Cravenlink buses 873 and 874 linking Skipton and Ilkley, with service 873 running via Embsay, Halton Height and Bolton Abbey.
