Registration for the Ilkley Grammar School PTA Ilkley Colour Rush on Sunday 26 June is now open.
Participants will be able to run, jog, walk, hop, skip or jump around a lapped 5k course on the IGS Ben Rhydding playing fields whilst being covered in colourful power paint.
There will be five 30 minutes races, the first at 10.30am for 5-7 year olds, then all races afterwards are for ages 7 through to 77!
Tickets cost £12.50 per person, to include a free T-shirt and drawstring bag if booked by 30 May.
A spokesperson for the PTA said: “This is a new venture for us and we’d love for it to be a real success to raise vital funds for the PTA, the projects this year are mental health training funding and the creative arts. A huge amount of time and effort has gone into planning this event by a very small team of parents and school staff and we’d love this to be a sell-out event.
“There is still time to grab your tickets, please do support what is set to be a fun packed family summer event.“
Rombalds Radio will be hosting, there will be a Zumba warm up and paint party with local fitness instructor, Emma Draper, United Education have agreed to bring along free Bubble Football and refreshments will also be available.
