A 38 year old woman from Keighley is due in court after being charged with the attempted murder of a child on Christmas Eve.
Lisa Shackleton, of Woodhouse Way in the town, was arrested on Friday following a report of a concern for safety of a child with injuries at an address in Keighley.
She has now been charged with attempted murder and is due to appear at Bradford Magistrates Court today (Monday 27th December).
The child was taken to hospital with serious injuries but is now believed to be in a stable condition.
West Yorkshire Police say the investigation remains ongoing.
