Ilkley's Christmas Lights Switch On - Cancelled

The difficult decision has been made by Ilkley Town Council to cancelled the light switch on today on The Grove due to the weather and health and safety.
There are no plans to try and re-arranged the event.


The Christmas market thought the day has been cancelled due to the weather forecast.

The build up to the Christmas lights switch on will start around 3pm with a great mix of entertainment hosted by Rombalds Radio outside Christchurch - Father Christmas will arrive in his carriage just before 5pm to switch on the town's festive lights.
